Avir at North Houston

Contact Activities Director Ivana for ways to help. Please note: She is very busy with the residents so often is not at her desk. If you can't reach her by phone, please email her at ijasperson@avirhg.com. She checks her email regularly.
To volunteer at Avir, you will need to sign in with the receptionist and then speak to the activity director Ivana. She will go over the volunteer rules and regulations with you then introduce you to the resident you will be visiting. After this initial visit you will only be required to sign in before visiting the resident.

Female - Wears X-large diabetic socks, 3X dresses/night gown; Likes activity books, Diet Coke, Dr Pepper, cookies. Would like personal care items like Shampoo, Body Wash, Conditioner, Brush, Body Lotion. Resident does not join group activities but she likes 1:1 conversations in her room. She is independent with activities. Is in Room 401
Female - Needs 3X/4X night gowns/dresses, Cannot wear pants. Would like personal care items like bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, slip on house shoes with grip (large) or size 7 wide slide on shoes, brush, comforter, snacks. Enjoys group activities in community. Enjoys coloring. Likes 1:1 conversations. Is independent. Is in Room 103
